SLEEPING IS GOOD TO KIDS

Enough Rest

The next factor is enough rest. To ensure that children are physically fit, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and socially, children also need adequate sleep. For example most kids between 5 and 12 get about 9.5 hours a night, but expert agree that most need 10 or 11 hours each night. Sleep is an individual thing and some kids need more than others. This is importance because the rest  of the body is more intelligent than tired and lethargic.

"Growth hormones are especially kept secret during sleep," says Judith Owens, M.D., a sleep medicine director at the National Children's Medical Center, in Washington, D.C., and Parents Advisory. Italian researchers, who study children with less growth hormones, have found that they sleep less than the average of children. During sleep, the rate of heartbeat and child blood pressure will be lower. This condition allows the children's blood circulation system to "take a break". Adults also need to take a rest and have enough sleep.

In addition, sleep can also help children's learning rates. Children with enough sleep will be able to focus on learning. they can focus longer. Children will be more eager to observe and learn new things around them. Therefore, adequate sleep and rest is an important part of the learning process and can adopt a healthy lifestyle
