GAINING SOCIAL SKILLS

Through play, children can improve their social skills. Children can hang around with friend around and then learn to collaborate through games. Throughout the socialization process, children learn the traditions, beliefs, values and costums of their social group. Children also learn the social rules practiced by other races. This shows that playing with other individuals give children the oppurtunity to adjust their behavior with others and give their own opinions.

One of the examples activities that can enhance social skills among children is to play cottages. This activities is usually played in a large number of children. This activities is able to provide fun to children as well as providing opportunities for children to associate with other people than parents. Moreover, children also have the opportunity to mingle with people who have a religion, race and belief. Indirectly, children can learn to respect the society of diverse societies.
